Cremation Options
The limited service option is designed to meet the needs of families who wish to arrange for cremation, but do not require the funeral home’s assistance in conducting a visitation or service. The funeral home in essence handles only the most necessary functions of the final disposition of your loved one.
The Limited Service Option includes:
- Local removal (within 20 miles) of the deceased from place of death to the funeral home.
- Basic services of licensed Funeral Director and Staff for necessary arrangements, securing permits, completing and filing death certificate, other forms and claims.
- Necessary disinfection techniques as required by WI State Statute HSS 136.04.
- Use of facilities for sheltering remains for a minimum of 48 hours.
- Alternative cremation container as required by the crematory.
- Local transfer (within 20 miles) of remains to the crematory.
Cremains are delivered in cardboard or thin plastic temporary containers. Permanent Cremation Urns are available from the funeral home. They range in cost from $50.00 to 2,495.00. Specialized cremation caskets are available from the funeral home to choose. Public viewing will require purchase of casket. They range in cost from $595.00 to 4,150.00.
In addition to our costs you may wish to consider providing for the costs of the following separate organizations....
- Newspaper obituaries
- County Coroner Fees
- Certified Copies of the Death Certificate
