BELOIT-- Raymond L. Boelter, Jr., age 72, of Beloit, died on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the home of his daughter. He was born in Milwaukee County on May 30, 1937. He served in the US Army during the Berlin Crisis. Raymond married Leona "Sue" Meitner in Milwaukee. He had been employed by Kearney and Trecker of Milwaukee and Gilman Engineering of Janesville.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leona "Sue" Boelter of Beloit; daughter, Cindy (Derrek) Heise of Janesville; step children: Debbie (Wayne) Schwartzman of Waukesha, Brian "Butch" (Shirley) Olson of Wind Lake, Dawn Olson of Muskego, Carrie Relish of Caldwell, Bryon (Sally) Fennig of Wind Lake and Tom (Karen) Fennig of Muskego; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings: Ann Strieter of Wind Lake, Faye (Jim) Schieffer of Burlington, Linda (Bill) Markert of Emery, SD, Vickie (Jim) Hauser of New Berlin and Tom (Pearl) Boelter of Cypress, CA; special godmother, Rita Schweitzer; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond L. and Frances C. (Acker) Boelter, Sr.; grandson, John Helm; twin brother, Robert Boelter; brother-in-law, John Strieter; and his previous wife, Jean Fennig.
No Funeral Services will be held. Lasting Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
